Our opinions and thoughts change so much as we age that I don’t think a 23 year old of any political persuasion would be worth listening too - as in having a tour and talking to big crowds. I did see a few minutes of Lauren speaking on Today Tonight. I saw her say that there is no such thing as gender diversity - only male and female, that diversity in general was a bad thing, and that women don’t make good CEO’s and we would all be happier if women didn’t work and stay at home. These are all things I personally strongly disagree with. She went on to say that she has her on business and works hard, so my personal feeling is that she wouldn’t give up work to be a stay at home mum for ever. I personally didn’t feel that in this she definitely wouldn’t practice what she preaches. I also think that the Melbourne video was designed to cause contraversy and to cause hostility in the street - well that was what she was aiming for. Don’t you agree? She is trying to drum up interest in her brand. So, if someone deliberately does this then shouldn’t they pay for their protection?

I get where you are coming from, but can you give an example of anyone from other side of the political spectrum, who has been billed this way. I recall a muslim rally not so long ago, where children were holding behead the infidel banners. Far more extreme than anything Lauren Southern had to say. Naturally, a large police presence was required. I don't remember the organisers get an invoice for that. I believe they too should pay for this also, that or Jailed for inciting violence and advocating murder.

Have watched most of them. Not always enjoyable viewing but so thought provoking. They are great to watch in a group and then have a discussion about which we often do in class. Its interesting seeing the point of views from different age groups. The suicide one I found pretty heartbreaking. The BDSM fascinating. Its an important show.

Us survivors are pretty awesome, gotta give you that. One of the blessings I count is my refusal to give in to any suggestion of powerlessness once I knew better. And I hadn't hit 16 yet for any of the examples. More than once I dared to refuse despite a friend's collusion one time when we were threatened by guys who gave us a lift. It was one or the other of us, and I was the offering, lucky another car in the car park noticed what was going on and came to the rescue literally. Or the time I was trapped in a room after taking a shower by my 'boyfriend's' mate while wrapped in a towel only. Nobody outside the room helped when I got the door open, because I 'deserved' the treatment. I guess the vision of me faced away from him huddled on my knees was a turn off... Or the other time the householder was perving on me with my boyfriend through the outside curtain. I barely had time to cover myself before he came in the room. Lucky I'm a mouthy bitch and all he took was my cigarettes. I count my blessings on so many levels all the time. People can be shit. And one's that take advantage of vulnerable people are the worst.

Upon reflection, i have come to the realisation that, earlier in this thread, i have been guilty of some intemperate and offensive comments to several members. In particular, Pipsqeak and Sarcastic_Dragon. For these comments i wish to offer a sincere apology. My only defence, is that i inhabit several forums elsewhere, that i would describe as no holds barred. Where offense is given routinely and the blood runs free. I now regret that i failed to comprehend that this approach is wholly inappropriate for the forum here and again, wish to offer my apologies to those members that i have personally offended and to others who have been offended by my actions.

Last Night when I got home I logged on and found your public apology to Sarcastic on this thread. I was so impressed I liked your post, straight away It says a lot about ones character when they take some time out to self reflect and found wanting. I can only assume this is what you did. To then own a way of thinking, apologise to one and then publicly apologise instead of private messaging (which you could have done to Sarcastic) well it was refreshing to read I've logged on tonight and read your further apology to myself among others. There is no need. We all get heated, we all are passionate about one subject or another. You are a articulate writer and you are self aware. They make me giggle. I mean, I saw a post of theirs that stated their members are found all around the globe! Lol. But it gives them something to believe in so I can’t fault that, we all need something to believe in, my belief is that we do not live on a flat earth. This is a UK TV show where a contestant gets to choose a date from a group of naked potential dates. In one half a woman gets to look at the bottom half of a man's body, then they get to see them up to the neck, followed by a look at their faces, next they hear their voices. Like the same comments the some people spout, 'If you don't want people to comment on your opinions on a public forum, then don't post.' 😎 Ive seen people called trolls or jumped on in the forum lately for having different yet not polar opinions. Or just questioning someone's perspective. Nothing malicious. Have we become too PC or sensitive? Interesting to see a number of people commented negatively against a male poster for posting in textspeak. Very strong attack on him, calling him all sorts of names. Personally, I don't condone nor appreciate textspeak in a forum. There is no need for it as forum or discussion comments/opinions/arguments are most effective in prose form. In my opinion. So textspeak has it's place, i.e., sending text messages on your phone. I don't bother replying to comments or messages written in textspeak. Now, I just saw a mature female poster just posted a comment in textspeak. The shoe is on the other foot. Would the female poster be treated in same vein as the male textspeak afficionado by the forumites? Watching and waiting...😎

I still don't get why you are reprimanding Annie and I for our actions in blocking you or anyone for that matter. What. Iota of difference will it make to your experience in the forum? Maybe i just want not to engage in further drama or misunderstanding as a result of anyone misunderstanding our intent in our posts. Just some preventative measures to minimise stress and maximize the enjoyment in forum participation. I choose to have experience and path that works for me. I own my decisions. You can still post prolifically as you do now and we can't stop you. I'm content to move in my little bubble in pursuit of my personal happiness and fortunes. That means a lot of Work and business commitments and stress I need to deal with. You know, resolution of real life issues that bring real life rewards? Hence, forums stress and participation is deliberately kept to a minimum. My opinion is life is to be lived out with the hoi polloi, not behind the keyboard. 😉 Status quo for this chick.

suspenders are fucking hot...BUT, they can be trouble..on my wedding night, my beautiful bride was dressed to the nines - underneath... her undergarments were elaborate.. to say the least..Our reception was a "Full-on" party, and we stayed bloody late.. most of the people there rode bikes, and the spirits were flowing freely..AFTERWARDS... She declared she was going to do just that..I sulked, and threatened, and carried on like a brat.. but to no avail.. She crashed..My mal-adjusted brain decided to play.. I honestly tried to stop it.. but had no chance.. it was fried an not responding to normal stimuli.She was all curled up so.. I started to play with her underwear straps.. I undid some, fed hem through others and reattached them back, or elsewhere..Then.. I grabbed a glass, and Captain Morgan and yours truly went out onto the balcony to watch the sun rise.About the time of sunrise.. my bride awoke needing to dispose of a lot of the liquid refreshments she had consumed.. She got OUT of bed... and not much further.. she was trussed up too well to stand properly, and fell back on the bed.She was tossing and rolling around on the bed.. "WTFing" and "Oh FFSing" and generally swearing a lot..I finally realised she may .. ummm have an accident IF I didn't help.. so, I mounted my shining white horse, and rode into battle to get her untied... She remembered it all in the morning.. and thanked me for helping.. up until our divorce, she actually THOUGHT that somehow her undergarments got all twisted and tied up themselves.. During our divorce and shit, I told her.. She shook her head and realised I was probably telling the truth..then replied... "It is shit like this that makes me understand that the best decision I have ever made in my life to date, is to fucking divorce you, you cunt!"And added.. "You are going to die a lonely old prick in a fucking gutter somewhere.."AND.. she is probably right BUT.. I still think Suspenders and like are fucking hot!!

Very early this morning, we have some tradies in doing some work and I drew the short straw for opening up this morning. Getting to work 2 hours before I usually do was a challenge! So far, they have been working hard having breakfast and spouting gossip and nattering more than a bunch of nana's having afternoon tea😂

Got a late message and emails last night from our overseas client. Urgent attention needed and no staff on Sunday night to sort out issues ASAP. Rolled my sleeves (pajama sleeves) and worked through The night with clients. Hit the hay at 4:30am and back up again to check out progress. I'm so tired. Somebody throw in a big brekkie serve with my coffee please.😴😖 Off to city soon but not looking forward to conference call with them at 8pm till late. I hate time differences!!!

Thanks for clearing that up, I've been trying to work out what the difference was that had me preferring the mustard and wasabi, for aaages. Make sure you keep an eye out because the wasabi sold in supermarkets is usually horseradish (Hot English Mustard ingredient). It's much cheaper and easier to process. Don't try mild English mustard, it's not worth it... I love Tabasco with my killer spag' sauce recipe, it's the finishing touch. Cheers, Peachy
