Sad to report another case of drugs destroying families. This time where I am living, behind the main house with a young couple. She has just had a baby to him, seems the conflict comes from her trying to stop him taking drugs.. this has been an ongoing issue since from before she was pregnant... said she was going to leave him then, stayed stupidly and now there is an innocent baby involved. Finally he roughed her up instead of punching yet another hole in the wall and this time she makes the right decision and leaves his ass. He took her phone, purse yada yada... all the typical crap so he thought he could control her. In spite of this she managed to get all the help she needs, a removalist (I helped pack her gear), police to return her phone and cards, refuge away from the house. Seems she can get an order to ban him from coming to the house for three days. I had thought he did come good after the birth of his amazingly cute and clever little son. Two days ago did see them as happy family playing on the grass with baby in baby pool. Now I must leave here too.. can't trust that he would on pay the rent or bills (he is lease holder) plus I really don't like living in a place where the police are always coming around. I haven't really the cash to go anywhere at the moment, paid for school camp trip, family holiday, child support yadda yadda.. FERK!!! Foxy can I please have a glass of tap water, can't afford anything else. Don't do crack/ice people.

Interesting to hear some rumbling on Peter 'KKK' Dutton trying his hand AGAIN in grabbing the leadership and prime ministership from Malcolm Turnbull. The drama continues 😒 Apparently, we may have a new prime minister by tonight?! Wth? Getting the top job by stealth? Australia is land of ninja prime ministers who land the job overnight, unexpectedly, usually while Australia sleeps. 😴😴 6 pms in 10 years? No wonder we can't get things done 😮

Of car commuting at present. I’m a avid reader but at the weekend someone pointed out to me that Spotify has podcasts on it. Guess I had never scrolled past the music selection Since then I’m right into podcasts and I reckon I’ve listen to 5 in the past few days Spotify does have a great selection and covers a lot of my interests but I’m just shouting out to anyone out there if they recommend any good ones. My interests are varied but I’m open to listening to anything new and thought provoking Anyone else listening out there ? I’m currently taking in “The Teachers Pet” I’m totally hooked Thanks

Quoting 'pipsqueak' Beautiful harbour Lovely sunny weather Yum seafood but a tad expensive eating out here And I even learnt a new sexual term of which I did not know “duck butter”, that was...unexpected But Sydney, WTF is the go with your lockout laws ? That would kill off Melbourne and it’s got to be hurting Sydney businesses Sad to see Yeah duck butter or another version I've heard of, truffle butter. enough to make your eyes water lol.Its long been known the lockout laws in Sydney have killed nightlife up there. Last I heard there is a movement to possibly finally repeal it. Even if they do it will take them a long time to even get close to matching Melbourne lol

Feeling for you mate.. it hit me personally too.. even more so then your case. good on the gal for getting the fuck out. The one thing you DO have Hawt.. is access to fern pool.. You know, I hiked that country before you attended school I climbed down into "Circular pool" a fucking dangerous way - no one told me there was fucking path of steps around there.. I came across it in '81, and didn't even know it was called that - came to it from the opposite side one gets to it now and thought.. "Cavey, old boy, get your arse down there.." which I did.. THEN... came across the fucking path AFTER.... when I was trying to get the fuck out again.. ;)I spent three days camped out there that time, and never saw a single person.. not one.. No track from Tom Price to Hedland them days - it was over to dampier and take the access road, or to Wittenoom and access tom price through yampire gorge to dale's then onto parra/tp rd.. the tracks were fucking rough.. You LOVE that country lad.. and let those ancient waters wash the shit of your everyday life away.. I had a dream I died in that park.. She has nearly killed me three times over the years I have paid her homage, but I reckon she is just letting me know to NEVER take her for granted... Now Hawt.. if you have been there, as your picture suggests, and do NOT recognise what I am saying, then Lad, you have no fucking soul - (Which, personally, I THINK you do.)

Yeah I don't mind the joint. I wouldn't care if me and my van did camp on the side of the road.. just I am not set up to do that full time and I imagine my work colleagues would start to object to the smell. You know when I cannot wash my clothes every few days etc, you know the social niceties. Work only gave me a few pairs of work clothes so it needs doing often. Am canvassing for space in the LIA or something. Worse comes to worse I will have to abandon van and try for a room somewhere. It has been my home for about a decade now.. bugger me but I believe I am sentimental about it. Wasting a lot of time with this accommodation nonsense when I could be out digging up gold and exploring. IT SUX GOAT!

P.S. I am glad you recognised fern pool.. it has changed a lot over the years. They did build a boardwalk and all sorts in there.. then there was a big fire went through it. That was two years ago.. might be starting to look nice again now. Man I would of loved to have gone with you in the old days.

yep.. my last swim there was a month before the fires.. :)Some years ago, I was stationed at Paraburdoo for about two years, and had a "Pilbara Wife" who worked at the Eco village - we went on a camping trip (About the most simplified camping trip ever taken between two people) - and fucked in every watering hole we came across.. then I went to do a powerhouse at Dampier, and got "Married" again and did it all again.. from Dampier to Nullagine then up to Coppin's gap and kitty gorge, Munjina Gorge, Wittenoom, Python pool, Millstream and Gregory's gorge... and a lot o other places along the way.. I tell ya.. there is nothing really better then fucking out in the best that nature has to offer.. Out with someone you clicked with..out in the openout in the WIDE WIDE spaces..in waterunder waterfallsin the swag listening to the dingos howling, and the nightbirds and frog songsOften observed but not giving a fuck about it.. We had gone for a morning swim naked in Joffre gorge, and had a good sess up the way some.. when we got back about a dozen tourists (Backpackers) were hanging there.. they were a bit surprised to see us turn up.. as that end is a steep as shit gorge..anyway.. they were chatting to us as we approached.. then didn't blink a fucking eyelid as climbed out naked and went to our clothes.. just kept chatting.. then some of them decided naked was good, and stripped off too.. so.. two "Older folk" and a few youngsters just chilling naked - and not figuring it was in anyway wrong.. of course a few OTHER people who climbed through got a little nervous.. I Fucking LOVE that park Hawt.. climbed through virtually every gorge in there - and found and photographed shit possibly no white man has ever seen.. I could fall off one of them 500+ foot walls or gorges and die a happy man..

Daintree... "Awesome Girl" I dunno though.. maybe it would resonate with me.. but.. the desert environments do for REAL.. Having said that..I was doing a 4 month Gig in a valley along the Colo River in NSW a few years ago.. Living VERY primitive and isolated.. no mod cons at all, and therefore "Blended" with the country. We had built a few humpies, and one night, black as sin itself, I had ventured off into the dark to pee.As I got out to the gate about 8ft from the humpy door, I "FELT" the most powerful presence. The hairs all over my fucking body stood up.. every nerve in my body responded, and the latent fear of primal man rose like fuck in me..I love that shit, and ventured 30 to 40 feet more into the dark - then, it was as if a hand firmly laid against my chest and "Stopped" me. I was NOT pushing past that. But, I called out to my mate to come out.. he opened the door, and all I could see was his Shape in the firelight..I whispered "out here by the hitching rail mate.. come feel this"He just said "Fuck you man, I can't.. whatever you are doing wont let me through the gate - fuck this shit.. you are welcome to it." then he bolted back inside and slammed the humpy hatch shut.He was a non believer - but he STILL felt it :) I was allowed to stay there awhile, then basically "Told" to go back inside, this was not my place this time. Even in the Pilbara, I have hiked to places, and about to enter certain places had that same fear grip me and tell me to leave.. Other places there, INCLUDING a couple of certain places I chose NOT to photograph in Karijini, I have felt so fucking welcomed, I could almost lay there forever.. live and die there.. Maybe I should go to Daintree with you ... we can fuck like we were meant to there...

Annabel Crabb pointed out on the ABC News site, that it took the Liberal Party fourteen years to excise Malcolm Turnbull from their political ranks. Although the far right would have preferred Dutton to have made it, Morrison is at least equally as worrying. A regular bully with little to no compassion on so many issues in the array of portfolios he's had. A bit like when Ferrari brought Alonso on board, even with Kimi there, I couldn't watch, once he'd gone, could glance occasionally that way again. I gather it's now five Prime Ministers in five years. Given an election, probably in December next year, that will be six for six odd. Wentworth will be free, I should go back there, run as an independent, on second thought...Mr. urn. .

Last Saturday, while walking through Martin Place, I noticed a commemorative gathering around the cenotaph. Service personnel serving and past, dignitaries, a small crowd. I was thinking what day is it? It was Vietnam Veterans Day. Gave me pause for thought re conscription and National Service, how difficult that draw was for so many young men. The general public slowly moved against it, however, many who tried to avoid the call up were poorly treated by the public too. Eventually, when these young men returned, after public sentiment had moved to being against the war, they were again poorly treated by the broader public and older servicemen from the two World Wars. Let's hope we never repeat the mistakes of the past. Mr. urn. .

I don't care what side of politics they are these days. All liars, cheats and only in it for their self intetest. If one ever came along and actually governed instead of kissing backsides to their own party then something decent might actually get done around here. If i could deregister with the AEC i would as a conscientious objector. I don't want anything to do with Australian politics anymore. They are fencepost turtles. If you’re puzzled,I’ll explain. If you’re driving along a country road and see a turtle balanced on top of a fencepost, that’s a fencepost turtle. Just like our politicians, you know he didn’t get up there by himself. He definitly doesn’t belong up there, he doesn’t know what to do while he is up there and you just gotta wonder the mindset of whoever put him up there in the first place. 😂

I totally get where you are coming from but I've become so jaded by all their self serving antics, last few days to prove a point lol. I don't whinge at the bananas we have, I just truly don't care anymore. Someone would have to do something significantly big for all Australians for me to rethink my position. But as you said and why I hold the position I do, why vote for rubbish. I would truly love for them to show some actual grit and make some decisions that look after our own nation and earn the right for a second term rather than fight amongst themselves due to the media polls to find the person who can successfully kiss the most arses to get the party elected again.

I’d known Julie was a lawyer before now, tho never realised related to the asbestos cases. I dislike her more now. And isn’t Bronwyn her sister? The one that spent a lot of our money on helicopter rides. Amongst other Rorts. It really is bloody embarrassing what our ‘leaders’ get up to. And the biggest problem is that they’re not held accountable for their decisions or actions mostly. To much energy goes into their bickering, rather than working their ‘policies’. To much arse kissing, not enough stance. - Posted from rhpmobile

I totally undetstand your reasoning, absolutely logical sense. The bit that troubles me is that their attitudes in Canberra and even state and local government have made us this way because of way they treat us so we return in kind. That was my point, if someone stood up to be realistic instead of self seving people would see them for what they are and the mob will follow. Idealistic i know but a hope for us all lol. The John Jarratt Saga continues... But, I am a little perplexed.. The alleged events happened in 1976 (And soon thereafter)The accuser continued to live WITH JJ and his wife. She travelled with them in what appears to be a fairly extensive and intimate travel plan. She took jobs as "Extras" when offered/organised to her by JJShe remained close friends with the couple, and their children for well over a decade, and it is not suggested that it was multiple decades..THEN something goes wrong/right/changes, and JJ is reported for "Rape"Please feel free to enlighten me here, my Neanderthal logic does NOT add this up. Please, I am NOT suggesting the events did not occur, I am just looking at what we have been fed so far..

Let me enlighten you. It's all about shame and credibility. The balance of power is tipped against her. Here is a man, amiable, famous and popular. Also likeable character. Well, her, she's a 'nobody' perhaps even young and naive. Who is More credible I the eyes of society? I don't remember the 70s or 80s being an open accepting society and conducive to hearing women nor children voice their complaints on sexual assaults. Don't remember it having a 'Me too' movement? Very much male dominated and patronizing to women. Would she gets a fair hearing? You see Cavey, I was sexually assaulted by my uncle at 11yo for two years. I tried to tell people but nobody believed me. Why? Because he was an outstanding member of society, an honourable Harvard educated academic and scientist who was well liked by everyone. Well, he even went to serve in UN as a chief scientist. And I? Who was I? I was a 12yo girl with nothing to show but my anger and naivety. I was inarticulate, shy and sooo confused. In the end I kept assault to myself as I realised nobody's going to help me nor believe me. I am both ashamed and angry at the helplessness befallen me. I was still forced to go to family trips with him at the time. Sometimes unsupervised. We still celebrated family get togethers.but I avoided him. People thought I was feral and strange for being aloof with him n some relations to told to. There was no 'me too' movement theb that would lend an ear to my plea. Wish there was then . Maybe then people would hear my little cry for help. But I knew then that will can not depend on anybody but myself to survive and flourish in this world. It took 20 years for the memories to resurface and years of counselling for me to understand that he took advantage of me, that the power dynamics, from financial, societal and physical positions, were in his favour then and he took advantage of that. Good in her for speaking up. Hope that would bring closure to her. I never got mine as he died this year of Alzheimer's. Last time I saw him 5 years ago, he was long gone helpless old man, staring blankly out onto the window. Missed my chance but I support any victim, man, woman or child who tried to come out to society to right the wrong. It requires a lot of strength to come out in public and accuse someone of rape because people like you would have doubts about their claims. Again, they're made to feel ashamed and they go relive the ordeal all over again in their head. Do you understand us now Cavey?

Not so:Seachange stated - "It requires a lot of strength to come out in public and accuse someone of rape because people like you would have doubts about their claims."Seachange made it a personal attack at that point. and had no need to add me to the equation. I was in no way suggesting it did NOT happen, and as I stated so in the final line of my post, quite the opposite. Seachange is NOT The only person on here who has been sexually or otherwise violated, nor are Women the only gender abused. As I stated in my response, and hold to it now:"Seachange was doing a grand job ... UNTIL she hit me personally"AND, she did that on assumptions WITHOUT taking into consideration, the entirety of my original post.

Seachange, I also am very sorry to hear of the abuse you suffered in your precious young years. And I thoroughly appreciate your openness here to relate your experience, that indeed takes bravery in itself to speak up in front of peers. I’m also sorry that your abuser died before you could get closure. No one deserves abuse in any shape or form and those guilty of perpetrating the abuse should be brought to justice. The only part I did see as perhaps a bit finger pointing was to say ‘people like you’. I don’t think Cavey was out of place asking for some enlightenment. It’s natural and human to question. And I bet there is a multitude of other people in Australia, male and female, who will be asking those same questions. When the case gets to court, I’m sure those facts will be discussed also. I don’t believe that anyone who has not been subjected to sexual abuse can fully understand the ramifications of what the abuse can do. So, it should be about education and the only way to get education is to ask those questions. It’s tough, I can see that, but if every time someone asks an innocent question and get shut down for it, then before long it will return to apathy again. Which I’m positive is not what the metoo and like movements want. We cannot just accept that every claim is true, sounds harsh, but it’s valid. I myself know a young guy that was accused of rape. The young lady finally admitted that it was consensual but at the time it happened she was embarrassed about it and played the rape card to avoid being labelled by her peers and family, and that then blew it out of control. The poor guys life was ruined. Public scrutiny, loss of job, loss of friends, he became very withdrawn and suicidal, and even tho the case was dismissed a few years ago, he is still subject to some degree of persecution from it. So if ‘people like you’ means people who ask questions or do not have a full understanding of what the abuse can do to someone, then I also am one of those people. It does not mean I do not care, it does not mean that I believe there should be a time limit on when a complaint can be made, it does not mean I am indifferent to the victims feelings and suffering. I guess it means that i am simply naive to the full complexities and that is where education, not blaming, is essential to bring about the changes needed to get all of us onto the same page.

Finally after several eeks of way too much on the plate physically and mentally along with worries about loved ones... The weight is coming off. It's been months since a loved one first went for a pap smear and was advised very soon after that her case was serious... It was just yesterday that she was finally given a diagnosis of cin3, the step before actual cancer! Treatment has been booked. I went through and had a pap smear and a breast check in this time considering I was late anyway, and I happened to find a lump. My stuff went through in a hurry! A clear for the pap smear and 5 years till I have to have another one, big yay. The mammogram and ultrasound found 2 bigger lumps than the one I'd found but I have been assured they look like cysts, and that will be confirmed when I get the results back from the biopsies on both breasts that I am having on Friday. Lol, during the ultrasound on one side, I pinched a nerve in my neck and have been working around having a practically useless arm that caused severe difficulty sleeping. My saving grace has been the vibrating neck pillow I got for a Mother's Day pressie many years ago. That's still there but much better than it was initially. It is amazing how much difference health can make. My body has gone through a lifetime of extreme stress and while it looks pretty good to look at, so I'm told. :-P It's kind of decrepit in some ways. Peachy, counts her lucky stars as often as possible

I'm here to feel it alright! There was more going on but I'll save you the myriad of details. I am relieved now the weight is coming off (our family has had a huge amount of hits over the years), satisfied to say things are always going Up, up, up in between the downs. I love the Shania Twain 'Up' concert and the song in particular. It's ironic that some of the stuff that is supposed to be good for us ends up being so destructive to the body in the long run isn't it?! That can be physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Truly intricate and beautiful machines we are. I was just posting somewhere else about that, I've had a long time love affair learning about it from tip to toe. Peachy, at least one thing in my favour is that I learned to avoid sports early.

Quoting 'cavey50' Not so:Seachange stated - "It requires a lot of strength to come out in public and accuse someone of rape because people like you would have doubts about their claims."Seachange made it a personal attack at that point. and had no need to add me to the equation. I bet London to a brick you've had a sudden rush of blood to the head in your time. You do have have a valid point but please show some compassion.Seachange is a good sort, I've met her and had a few good laughs with her, so please cut her some slack. After all this is a very emotive subject to those who have been on the dark side.

I think a first for any sporting events, I’ve just read that the WSL has announced that from 2019 all WSL competitions will be offering equal pay(prize money) to male and female competitors. Quote from Stephanie Gilmore “The money is fantastic, but the message is more important”.

Membership is now based on gender identity rather biological. So if they are born Male and identify exclusively as female, you're in. If born a female and now identify as male, you're out.Society is moving forward at a nice pace. It's becoming such a nice world...... in parts at least. I wonder if l could join and learn shibari......

Quoting 'Meander' That schoolgirl Evie's message to Scott Morrison. She's transgender and she owned him on the topic, anyone else she it? Bloody brave! But l did see the interview on sky news about the nsw teaching program that it was referencing. That was informative and seemed to make sense. Something got taken out of context somewhere along the way

The wonderful and highly underrated comedic actor Bill Daily has died aged 91, (reported by his son). Bill is probably best known for his role as Major Roger Healy, in "I Dream of Jeannie". A wonderful life, thank you for sharing your talent. Mr. urn. .
