Early this morning I read that director and filmmaker Nic Roeg had died on the 23rd of November. Nic was an incredible visionary and has inspired many of the filmmakers of the last 20 years. He was 90. .. On my way to the rhp site to post the above, I saw that Pete Shelley had just passed away, he was 63. Pete is probably best remembered for his hits with his band, The Buzzcocks, as well as early 80's solo hits, I had a sibling play Homosapien about a thousand times. Not many were mentioning their bi-sexuality in songs back then. He also linked interactivity between music and technology, even before Peter Gabriel and db did. R.I.P. Short Mac, Cappucino or Soy Latte’s for me. OK I enjoy all sorts of coffee. Strong hot Cappuccino for my husband. Best news for us this week is that he’s hopefully coming out of rehab next week. It will be fantastic to have him home, even though it will be several months before he is able to walk unassisted. Oh, there was some other good news. Python Pool, New Years Day about 2003 (ish)I spent New Years Eve on t4he water's edge there - Alone.Awoke.. lit a fire, cooked some vitals, swam, lazed, Swam.. then.. FFS.. I dozed the fuck offI was reading a book, naked on my back.. and fell asleep.. VERY asleep.. I woke to approaching people.. INCLUDING some youngsters.. Panic - sit up.. fuck!! If I didn't know better, I would say he ACTUALLY had that family pull into Python Pool.. JUST to save me from DEATH. I was so badly burnt, I swear to the same God that I THOUGHT I was going to lose my cock.The married woman in camp who was fucking me laughed like fuck.. Feel the need to ask the question do a lot of men who are on this site think similar to the message I received today. As apparently because my profile pick is showing cleavage that just screams I want random cock. I could die in that country and die happy..Been hiking through it for a long time now - starting in '81. Seen places I don't even know how to find today.. or if they were ever named by anyone except the blackfellas.. Walked into places and "Felt" so damned welcomed.. and other places.. hidden gorges and valleys, and on outcrops and "KNEW" I was not to enter.. There is a surreal and healthy fear, or fear/comfort/awe-inspiring mix in realizing there are "Entities" suddenly walking with you, or you wake of a night and "Feel" them in your camp..

Those places u talk about that welcome you, are exactly what i felt while i was growing up in that region, and every time I’ve returned, then u have some areas not many people see, or even hear of. Pilbara + Kimberly is dear to my heart due to big family connection, grew up in that area prior to Mum Dad being layed to rest in the red soil. Could never see all of the areas wonders, but seeing a small % so far will always be with me. Loved walking or jumping (when younger) in to the gorges, just pissed me off the long walk out. All made better once u reached the top. Just breath taking inland or alone the coast. Safe travelling Cavey

Ahh yes....the turkey... Well I mixed up in some soft butter, garlic, lemon zest and juice, a little olive oil and some salt/pepper and put that under its skin on the breast..and used what was left for the outside... Stuffed it with the lemons that were left over after zesting, and a brown onion... After 20mins in the oven and it’s skin started to brown, I covered the turkey in streaky bacon as streaky bacon is a bit fatty and the fat renders down to help baste while it’s cooking....I also poured in some chicken stock in the bottom of the roasting dish... After cooking, the folks were pretty eager and I was a bit nervous, but cutting into it saw it was really juicy and it tasted awesome... I made a gravy out of apple cider, the turkey stuffing, the streaky bacon, and some plain flour....I forgot to add some turkey meat to it like the wings etc....but it seemed to be a hit...
