sex

Something I have seen on a few profiles is " up for anything" "no limits" etc and then the profile lists the oreientation as straight. Perhaps I am just being a pedant but if you are straight then how can you be up for anything, presumably you aren't up for same sex play?

it could be as simple as a honest mistake, by ticking the wrong box, I know because I did, and when it was pointed out was corrected. The glass is not always half empty

Haleakala good point. Like you I notice the 'up for anything' thingy and in my mind that means: 1. You can stick a ferret up my ass and I wont mind 2. Poo and pee on me and I will beg for more 3. Stick a dildo in my mouth, up my bum, in my ear and both sets of nostrils and I'll be happy as Larry. 4. I don't care if you are male, female, android, latex or shemale. Just do me! Seems to me that some people tick this box in the hope they will have a better chance of connecting with someone. You know the, if you throw enough shit somethings got to stick theory? Personally, I don't care what you choose to stick up your freckle, in your mouth, in your clam or in your ear just don't advertise falsely.

Actually it reads open for anything not up for anything. I read this as meaning your not stuck in the one lane and are open to different sexual ideas. Haleakala you list your sexual orentation as not sure. Not having a go at you but what does not sure actually mean in this context. Your either straight/Bi/or Bi curious by my way of thinking. Maybe thats one that needs explaining better lol XXX

I wasn't actually refering particularly to the check box options more to the text I have noticed in a few profiles, this certainly wan't intended as a criticism of those people just an observation and to see other peoples points of view on the subject. As for my sexuality, the reason I chose not sure rather than bi-curious is as follows: I enjoy anal sex from a strapon fingers buttplug etc, I like the idea of a powerexchange scenario where a woman 'forces' me to play man on man, however I cannot see me being interested in a purely man on man situation and I never really look at guys and think "wow he is sexy". Hence putting not sure, If the not sure option wasn't there I would have put curious. Clear as mud?

I would have to say that your above post was most enlightening... and it illustrates just how pure and innocent I am... > 1. You can stick a ferret up my ass and I wont mind > 2. Poo and pee on me and I will beg for more > 3. Stick a dildo in my mouth, up my bum, in my ear and both sets of nostrils and I'll be happy as Larry. > 4. I don't care if you are male, female, android, latex or shemale. Just do me! Though now I tend to think there's still some virtues in remaining untainted.

Yes, that bugs me too, haleakala. It often seems to me that when most people say they are up for anything, they really mean they are up for everything they consider "normal". The trouble is, they expect everyone else to psychically know what that is. Makes for some potentially nasty misunderstandings, lol. The thing that annoys me almost as much is when people directly contradict themselves. ie, "I am into everything. I don't do anal, pain or filth." Ummmm....????? All this also has the unfortunate effect of making people assume those of us who really *wouldn't* rule anything out aren't being totally genuine :( nadi xx

That's so true Nadi. What I do is normal and everything else is just...sick. And if I have enough friends who feel the same way I do, then I'll have no qualms telling someone just how sick they are. I want to be different but only as long as there are enough people doing the same different things I am.
