I watch a doco on tantric sex recently and it showed lots of scenes of people sitting fully clothed sort of humming together - not my idea of fun! I also once met a couple interested in having a threesome with me and they kept talking about how they had gone to tantric sex workshops. Those two things really put me off the concept - I like sex to be fun and free not controlled and over thought.mrs scc

... there's a LOT to it. Tantra literally means finding the spiritual in everything, so in terms of sex, it means spirituality through sex. There are many different ways to explore it and many different techniques to deepen and intensify sexual experiences.It's not for everyone, but then, nothing is :)lilmiss x

Yes it is amazing when it works AND when you have a partner willing and able to also do it. You can do it by yourself too. But because it's such a deeply spiritual act it may not be appropriate in a swingers situation because you can get quite attached to that person too. Might cause an issue if you can't let go of that connection when you leave eh? But I love it. earthlydelights.

I had an experiance recently with a woman she had it but i didnt get it so i jumped her bones anyway and she got a double dose, guess i'm not spiritual enough but i dont mind.Was interesting.

Tantric sex does not involve the total control of ones self and another. It is long, slow, sensual, finding the balance within, finding the spirituality of yourself and partner and also the spirituality in sex. I can imagine it would be the ultimate, the most mind blowing sexual practise there is.

I dont think it is about "if it aint broke dont fix it" I guess it could be veiwed along similar lines as to why couples chose to swing. It does not mean that thier sex life is broken does it? It just adds another dimention. We are all looking to explore our own sexuality, why not tantric sex? It may take years to master but then so do many things. Nothing in life that is worthwhile is easy.
