Hi subiman, I'm curious about the numbers too, I've heard anywhere between 4:1 and 8:1 male to female ratio, but they're just a guesstimates. In any case, how would knowing the numbers help you? If you want some numbers on ordinary dating sites, check this out: http://www.ischool.berkeley.edu/~atf/thesis_mit/ It's a little dated, but interesting to note is that 75% of messages never get replied to, even when the ratios are much closer to 1:1!

hi, ummm, some figures here for you. 920 flirts in about 3 months, whatever that works out to be (I dont check them at all, but it states that in my profile). Average I suppose of 5-10 messages received a day, all of which I respond to, although at the moment I can't seem to for some reason. Yes, am having sex with someone I met from this site. Have done so with several from this site. Have met around 50ish people altogether in the last year from RHP, and some of them are really good friends of mine now. Hope this helps xxSoubi

Subiman i see ur not getting a big response to ur question - thats because as soon as a man on rhp isnt getting any they put up this same old whinge and we girls are getting abit sick of defending ourselves. yes we do get inundated with flirts and messages . yes we do reply to all of them in the beginning and yes this does stop after a while because they keep coming even those (as u will read in other threads) who dont fit or match our profiles and those who wish to abuse us because they dont fit or match our profiles...... If we replied to every single one of them, we would be sitting at our keyboards day and night, and considering that we have families and jobs and lives - this is not possible, so we reply to the ones who interest us. If that does not seem fair then too bad, get over it and keep trying until u find one who finds u interesting. cheers Tina

sure I've had my fair share of unread flirts....but I've met a few great women form this site and others and generally having a great time...don't know what the magic formula is...I'm only a guest here but have a paid membership elsewhere and as a rule only message women who have a bit of brainpower....or at least that's the impression i get...these women are usually more open to an older bloke with a sense of humour and not looking for a six pack....guess that helps.....hahaha!

I didn't find subi's tone to be whinging at all. He is asking some genuine questions out of what sounds like pure curiosity. Christina... you can use a template reply for the messages you are not interested in persuing. It only takes a second to do. Lucky you if you have that many messages that it would take you day and night to reply to them all. I'd try being a bit more thankful and humbled that so many are interested in you.

Firstly thanks to those people, the few, as pointed out by Christina, who replied to this thread. what was interesting was that i received the same number of personal messages about this topic as i did replies to the thread, so hey at least i got some message! lol From the tone of Christina's reply i have inadvertently pushed a wrong button, but i must cry innocenct, as having re-read the original i wasnt aware that i had, as Christina pointed out, had a 'whinge'. in fact the only part of the thread that might appear as a whinge..... 'that many that you cant simply reply? is followed by, 'this is not a dig, a simple question of trying to understand!" Indeed this was answered to a degree by soubriquet, and thank you for that information. The remainder is made up of statements and actually asking questions, maybe they were somewhat rhetorical but they were questions. The statements were meant to set the tone of the thread that in fact i wasnt having a 'whinge' at all by way of having taken the time to do a bit of research to gain some understanding and was simply seeking some more. So Christina, i apologise if for some reason you saw this as me having a 'whinge'. I would hope that you have seen that i have viewed your profile and have not meaninglessly 'flirted' or 'messaged' you, simply because i dont fit your criteria! Again as i indicated in the thread i do this with all profiles i read. My final word is that the thread wasnt started because i am a man on RHP who 'is not getting any', it was because i was genuinely intrigued! Subi

I was simply pointing out that this thread is brought up again and again and again in the forum always implying thats the girls are rude for not replying to every flirt or messages they recieve -and if u read forums - going back for a while u can see that there are also spin offs from this thread referring to the nasty messages we receive for men not giving them consideration, and as soub pointed out - there was no reason - and i did not expect an apology from you. so i apologise for running 'hot under the collar' but if u read my message and ignore the flash of temper, then the answer i have given is valid.

Is like trying to guess how many smarties or jelly beans are in the jar.....lol.... Can only guess until you physically can count every single person, then you would get a more accurate number. But that is just plain difficult unless RHP could do a huge event for the statistics, but that would depend on being able to get every single person in one place at the same time in each state, still extremely difficult but would be very interesting time if was a possibility. i sat down for half an hour the other day and replied to some of the 181 flirts i had in my inbox. i would have got through about 30 and more than 30 came in at that time because i was online. it was exhausting. as for emails, dont even ask. ive given up, i have an auto answer on appologising and only answer the ones who have photos and write something interesting now. its insane. ive also had a gut full of guys complaining, but thats a whole different topic all together.
