Wow Jose... one year older and look what you come up with !!! Who said old farts are demented ?  Seems like you still have most of your brain cells intact.   I was unable to add to your wonderful list however thought I'd share the following with you:   Did you know that a Spoonerism is when you swap the first or other sounds of words (eg, it is kisstomary to cuss the bride !).  You may have noticed people doing this at the pub after a few too many beers.   A NOSEGAY is a bunch of flowers !  Mmmm... does that mean that my nose prefers other women's noses ?   To SCOOTCH is to move a short distance.  Perhaps this word was invented after someone drank too much scotch and could hardly walk ?   How about BRITCHES... the old fashioned word for pants.  I'm wondering when women started to wear pants rather than just skirts or dresses, a male dropped the "R" and henceforth women who take on men are often called BITCHES.   I'll stop for now.... there are many many more.   Cheers, Ms Saturn

Dearest jose...   you have switched on the neurons in my brain and now every word has a possible second meaning.   Since there don't appear to be many players of your game at present, let me have a second go.   Does MENTAL mean that ONLY MEN are crazy !!!!!  I think the word is correct ! Of course, ít's always the men !!   If I play my INstrument outside does it become an OUTstrument ?   (In all seriously ... I"m sure we all know that most of these words stem from Latin rather than actually being sexist !!)   Jean_Girard... you've totally lost me ! Could you explain SALMON ? What am I missing ?   MynameisEarl...arghhh the X Files... brings back fond memories.  I always imagined myself as a bit of a Scully !   Will keep thinking.   xx Saturn
