Probably due to the fact that most of them would be drowning in flirts/messages with a 10:1 ratio of men to women. Merely keeping their head above water by responding to all messages/flirts would constitute a full-time job.MrFF

I for one respond to ALL flirts and messages I get unless they continue to send flirts to meafter I've said no a few times, then they get blocked!I have heard in the chat rooms some guys ask about it and girls have said they don't even respond topeople who don't READ profiles and do not fit their criteria which i think in some respectsis fair enough!Some men/couples and even some women seem to think they're the exception and good on them for trying if their age is just a little out by 2 or 3 years but other than that READ PROFILES and then decide if you should spend the time to flirt or message them!It always pays to do your research!!If you don't fall into any of these categories niloctnarg then i guess you're just unlucky?!?!I do hope you find what you're looking for though!xx OhSoBi xx

In my opinion...i think you need to scrub up your profile a little...add more pics.... and PLEASE take out your generic 'about me' section and make it your own! If you read the other topics you'll see that majority of the girls HATE generic profiles such as yours...be a little more creative and write it yourself xx OhSoBi xx

Firstly, the messages I reply to are: 1. interesting. The message says something personal, not just the generic "hi, you sound great, want to meet". I can tell from the message that the guy has read my profile and is genuinely interested in ME rather than randomly shooting of messages to every woman hoping to hit the jackpot. 2. are witty. I like the use of wit or humour in a message. Something that gets my attention other than ""what is your favourite position for sex". Seriously, that kind of question needs to wait at least until message 3 or 4 (by my standards- some may disagree). 3. meet my criteria. I'm not a "cougar" and state the age range I'd like to meet. Younger is not always better in bed ! LOL ! The ones I don't reply to are the messages that are so short that I get the impression the guy says the same thing in every message. Are sexually blunt. Or The guy offers to send explicit photos. (yes, I like to imagine what you look like.. I don't need to see it before I meet you !) Flirts are very generic. I do take the time to review every guys profile who flirts but I don't reply to them all. I actually find the standard responses don't fit what I want to say. Generally I just want to say "thanks, but not at this time"or something a long these lines. Oh... one more thing... I don't like those flirts where the guy asks me to message him ! Sorry but I may be sexually adventurous, playful, witty and cute but I'm also a little traditional. I definitely respond a lot more to messages than flirts. A message written with effort is almost guaranteed a response ! Hope this helps ?

Looks like you took OhSoBi's advice because your profile is blocked, that's a good start :-) Yes, I guess I am guilty of not responding to all messages and flirts but it is because they don't fit into the already stated criteria on my profile. I have discussed this too with some girls and it's often that they don't enjoy sending rejection replies. It's not fun and sometimes that's not even the end of it... guys who re-contact you wanting to know what your problem is are not much fun either and so prefer to ignore them. It really ends up being the same thing. If they don't reply, it's the same as saying "thanks but no thanks".

Yeah i do agree with you shopie_74, i did change it.. but even that being said i do send messages to ppl say like you for example i would send you a message saying nice pix and hope you find what your looking for.. and as a result i do get a reponce sometimes.. but have found that even if i am 1 year under the minimum age by like 4 months i still get snubbed.. but hey thats life

It is not just guys it happens too I have had girls do it to me too!!! & I for one find it very rude None of my girlfriends would ever do that to another girl (we all been there had that done to us by guys !!!) wheres the Love gone from the 'Sisterhood' lol XXX Kelly

Howdy All. Well I reckon if I had some many messages to respond to I probably wouldn't bother either. And besides so people just wouldn't give the time of day Personally appreciate all replies no matter what the content. Generic profiles, yuk, need some originality please. Cherrio.
