Yes asking that question on this site will almost certainly give you a different answer compared to the general female population, but I think more women are into porn that you think. It's probably more accurate to say that a lot of women just don't like the 'standard' porn which let's face it, is mainly aimed at males. For example there's nothing more boring to me than watching a woman gag and salivate on a guy's cock for 15 or 20 minutes. Also I find most mainstream professional porn just looks too fake, the actors rarely look like they're actually enjoying themselves, and most of the focus is on the woman / women whereas I want to see men too (the whole man, not just his cock). It's just not erotic for me. I like to watch sex that looks and sounds real...so even some of the amateur stuff can be great. There is more female-friendly porn these days but I find a lot of that to be too tame, so I'm still looking for my 'holy grail' of porn...

Hi macguy29, I managed an Adult store for many years and I found that quite a lot of women were interested in porn, it was just a case of finding the right type of porn. In such a male-oriented (and sometimes quite misogynistic) industry, not much porn is designed for women, although it is slowly getting better. Fantasy porn was usually the most popular (i.e. Threesome's, Lesbian, Gang Bang, Bondage), but it is usually not a topic that a lot of women are comfortable talking about (present company excluded). One observation I did make was that a lot of women were unhappy with the quality of the men in straight porn, and that they felt that all the better looking guys were in gay porn. so I can tell you that women love porn but they generally don't like the shit american porn where women are just being subjected to gagging, being slapped, rammed into and humiliated with no real pleasure for the woman. The porn industry are doing themselves a huge disfavour by thinking that women don't like porn and gearing it all toward men. The trend is going back to classic porn or amateur and european stuff because it is more realistic. There has been huge growth in tranny and gay porn too, which I prefer too. It gets a bit, seen one, you have seen them all. There is also a huge misconception that women only like storyline porn. The only reason most women like it is because the women are treated differently in it. Women would watch hardcore porn if there was some respect for women in it.

There is some great instructional porn and we have watched a lot of it then put it into practice, anything with erotic massage and or anything that helps to find new ways to enhance or introduce the plethora of orgasms that are achievable. With my wife and I, porn had been more of 'my' thing for years. She had never shown a lot of interest in it and i never pushed her toward watching it. With her newly re-emerged libido, I thought I'd test the waters a bit. She was lying down on the couch, quietly reading a book.
