sex

hi people i am curious as to what the general consensus of the phrase " friends with benefits " means to men and women and couples to me the phrase means a person that you are friendly with ( obviously ) a person you can spend time with and have a good time whether not it you end up having sex on that particular occasion , someone to go out with and have a few laughs and maybe have sex or maybe not and if you dont have sex on that occasion it doesnt matter because you have had a good time so i am curious does my interpretation accord with other peoples interpretation reg

Pole dancer, very true what you have said....doesnt always have to be sex, could be an evening at the movies or going to watch a game of footy, if the sex happens great, if it doesnt...next time...lol...

I agree with what u have said, it also seem that when i say that to women, they take it the wrong way or become too complicated. Sex is great, but so is a good nite out with a laugh and great conversation. Unfortunately not all minds think alike. cheers smiley72

i agree with pole-dancer and it is unfortunate that more people dont have the same interpretation as reggie does it doesnt always have to be about sex every time you see someone of the opposite sex people need to learn to enjoy life and enjoy the ride benefits can mean many different things

pole_dancer, you pretty much hit the nail on the head there. I look at it the same way. It’s a relationship based on friendship. You meet each other because you enjoy each others company. Not because you just want sex. Sure sex is a possibility being the benefit of this friendship but the friendship and the company is first.
