sex

since having our first child 18 months ago my libido has spiralled. its not that i dont enjoy sex once its started, its just that i never feel horny anymore and it takes a lot of forplay to get me in the mood. i really want to get my libido back and i have been to doctors and all they say is its normal and it will eventually come back. my question is this. does anyone know of an aphrodesiac for women that actually works?

I went through the exact same thing with my 3rd child, it was never a problem with my first two so i just didn't buy it when everyone (Dr's included) told me it was 'normal', I knew what was the norm for me and that wasn't it!!As it turns out, for me the problem was the mini pill that i was taking, within 2 days of stopping it i was 'BACK ON BOARD' Woohoo lol but on a serious note if you are breastfeeding or on any sort of contraception after a baby it all messes with your hormones and no amount of pills or potions or aphrodisiacs is going to help you with that.If your Dr is writing it off as normal i would suggest a second opinion, or maybe a naturapath your mojo will come back with time and i understand your frustration (I was not a fun lady to be around while mine was missing) but talk with your partner about it, go slow and try to relax and be patient and enjoy your new bubs, they don't stay little for long enough.Best of luck Mrs GC

Being the father of three who are now adults I've realised that babies are exhausting. They drive a couple into a routine and the routine doesn't have the room, or the opportunities that it used to have for sexing it up. Being the demanding self centred little blighters that they truly are means that you have to rule the household, not them. Send them to bed early, read them a story... and turn off the lights... make that the routine. Now... how to get your libido back. I think you have to force your body back into its normal cycle. Firstly, no underwear after 7pm. put them in the washing machine along with all the kids crap and turn the bloody thing on. Second... washing the dishes. Packing the dishwasher is a dangerous occupation in my house. hehe. you get the idea. do the dishes ... errrr... together... it's the housewife's version of a table top dance.... Third... wiping down the kitchen bench.... wear an old t-shirt for this. tip for husbands.. I find that those little kitchen stools are ideal and reduce the incidence of cramping. Finally.. put a rubber band around your wrist. Whenever you play with the rubber band... reach over and kiss your husband... put you hand down his pajamas and hold that thing.. count to 30 and release. Sexual contact.. or contact in a sexual way.. reminds you that you are more than a mum.. you are a yummy mummy. I hope these tips come in handy. Especially the little kitchen stool trick. Sleep at night in a row. Once you can say that you have slept through for 2 weeks in a row, then try dirty novels. Read them during the day (nap time) Im usually well pumped by night time:)

Windea kids can be hard work if you dont rest and relax,,,,,,,,,,, there is always some time spent alone between partners and that is usually taken up with sleep so time should be set aside for say a sensual massage or just lay and hold each other ,,,,,,,,,,and it eventually gets you back into the flow so to speak and then the kids leave home and whoooo hooooo it gets almost back to before marriage years but that is another story,, just enjoy your children while you can and the sex and loveing part will sort itself out Andyxxxxxx
