Who Are You?

Who are you and what stage of your "journey" would you say you are at today? I got to wondering these things about myself whilst doing some navel-gazing today and thought they would be good questions to throw out there to the RHP world. Which "online dater" are you? Are you on a search for something in particular or is this purely and simply a sex site, a hook-up tool in your quest for sexual satisfaction? Are you hoping to increase your self awareness? Are you intentionally risk taking? Looking for true Luuuuurve maybe? Exploring a new time in your life? Everyone is here for a reason, and the fact that for many, it isn't always about sex, has been pondered plenty before on this forum. Has anyone found what it is they were looking for? Or even found what they didn't realise they were looking for? Do you even KNOW what you're looking for? *pause for breath* As a couple, do you assess where you're at on 'the journey' regularly, or have you plunged in and just sampled the delights? Perhaps you are a happy single female or satisfied single male on RHP (if they indeed exist!) and enjoy this brave new online world. It's definitely an interesting study in human nature some days, that's for sure!! I hope this isn't too deep for this early in the week, I just got to thinking and was curious for input and good 'ol fashioned opinion-airing :-)

I joined RHP after finding it whilst googling "dogging" - heh. My libido had kicked into overdrive and I needed to fuck and figured that online was the easiest way to get it - I could go through the whole HSV thing without being emotionally attached and then feeling gutted at rejection. Total ease and convenience, especially as I'm was not looking for a relationship.I've evolved in my 5 months here from that complete and utter hornbag (well, still a hornbag) to enjoying the forums and I've actually made some online friends with the same mindset as me, which is really kind of cool. I haven't met (read shagged) anyone new from here in a month but I keep my eyes open for someone who appeals - although now it's more about appealing to my mind (it is my biggest erogenous zone). Moving forward I hope to meet some of the guys I'm currently chatting with.All in all I still see RHP as a cruising site and it has served me well. :)

My journey is to nowhere. Lol. This place is convenient. Still lying on the couch but alone. Lol. Sob sob. I came here as I wasn't ready for a relationship. Now I found the who (from real life.) she's not ready. Well I guess that's life and the journey for me. I won't stop though. I still have too much life in me. When I get off the couch may be. Fab. Oo sorry none of this made sense.

Much like Stalky - this started as a work avoidance strategy... figured that during a slow return from the end of year holidays it'd be a better place for social notworking than somewhere without breasts and bottoms . . I never really thought it would happen, but since then I've met my first wife. . Oh.... not mine. lol

A complete pain in the butt! Further evidence I should have bought an iPhone and not a Blackberry *sigh* Journey may not have been the word I'd have chosen, but it was used in this article, and took the angle that people who utilise online dating are somehow searching for something they're missing inside and blah blah blah and it just got me wondering what I came to this site for and what I get from it. Our objectives as a couple are slightly different but fairly in keeping with our own individual ones. Personally, I started out like Trish I think. And also Stalky (re: avoidance strategy). I ended up like Jean.And so the train rolls on ...PS: Fab, your post makes plenty of sense

A special CPL to have on-going occasional erotic encounters. A special woman to journey through life with at whatever pace we choose. Either or both but there's no hurry about these things, thats the special bit.
