  One sure give away is when the penis knob is feeling a bit raw from too much friction... and I guess women will experience tender spots too. I think there's two distinct aspects. Firstly, becoming jaded when the sex act is routine... and secondly, when one becomes addicted to the point that work and every thing else suffers from neglect. The solution to item one often involves new experiences and adventures, by either inventive lovemaking or new partners. The incredible high gained through consummating new relationships, can almost be an end in itself. Though often there's no long term fulfillment and may instead be soul and career destroying. The ideal to me is to find a soul mate who I absolutely adore, and have these feelings reciprocated. A person who is willing to enjoy to the fullest our carnal pleasures, without inhibition or need to compromise. So in tune that we react as one. Unfortunately, other worldly factors tend to interfere... such as finances, work and children. Only the very rich, totally selfish or extremely lucky... seem to avoid these everyday realities.

  hi tempt us we agree with you you, have to have a dry spell but not 4 to long it tends to keep things intresting, we have been togther 4, 14y and still play like teens cheers

  I prefer the dry spells and floods, thats why i'm still single after 45 years rofl. Hang the routine ;).

  Once maybe twice a day is a good average for myself, youth would play a part in this i spose lol. And i have only ever thought to myself that ive had enough while recovering from the flu ... or a hangover lol. Sex to me isn't just the finish, its more about brining pleasure to the other person first, if i couldn't pleasure the other person before myself .. i would become celibate lol. There is nothing more enjoyable than seeing someone else gain pleasure from what you can do with your body, a very empowering feeling indeed, but im wandering off track now lol.

  You can save the no sex for when your six feet under. As we used to say in our youth (more eons ago than I care to remember) Each time you knock back sex, it is one less sexual experience you will have in your life - however it was put it in cruder terms back in those days :)

  Most definately - but when the dry spell is over, the next sexual experience is outta this world !! lol - and i notice that it is mostly the men (and i say mostly) who say there is no such thing as too much sex lmao

  Thanks for your responses guys n gals....... I am on a twice daily diet of sex at the moment and certainly don't plan to change that anytime soon... For me I agree there is never too much!!!

  Were still in the twice a day bracket now...having slowed down since were passing late 40's.......

  I prefer at least twice a day.....although sometimes i think it would be better with someone else thereinstead of being alone!
