Swingers clubs

August 21 2010

My husband and I are very new to this scene and are just toying with the idea of swinging. We have never been to a swingers club and are very curious (and nervous) about what goes on and what the atmosphere is like. Can you please share your experiences with me to help calm the nerves? Also could you suggest a good place for us first timers to visit either in Brisbane or on the Gold Coast. Thanks

We had our first swinging experience about 3 years ago and like you we decided to check out a swingers club... at the time I was so nervous about it all and in the decided well, if we don't like we can at least play with each other! We had a great 'eye opening' time and really enjoyed ourselves, we visited the same club a few months ago and found it a very different experience. Each club is different and what really makes the night is the other couples who are there, your attitude to it all and not having any expectations... as 'Capital' said it's all about you and your experiences... Good luck and hope that you settle into the swing of things ;p

Hey Guys. We decided to do the same thing as you a few years ago. It took us, well me (Lady), probably 12 months before we worked up the courage to go!! After doing some research we went to Couples Int in Brisbane. It was the most fantastic thing we ever did and we haven't looked back!!! Bryan, Leesa, John and their staff are fantastic people who are totally focused on making your experience a positive one. They definitely go out of their way to make new people feel welcome and answer any questions or concerns you have. We decided that we wouldn't play on our first night becuase neither of us had done anything like that before (we didn't know about RHP then) and that took the pressure off a bit. Theme nights can be a bit intimidating because of the sheer number of people and 'activity'. But normal nights can be a bit quiet. It really depends on you. Good luck with it and enjoy.
