Songs to make love by

January 08 2010

I'm curious to find out what song(s) really do if for you in the bedroom.  What songs do you like hearing in the distance while you're with that special someone.   Mrs D

Oh yes! How good are they? Really get ya going! And the onstage performance! Really get the blood pumping. I've given this post some thought, and come up with a few sub-categories Musice to: 1/ Clean the pipes by: Not that I require inspiration more like..taking it down a notch or two: Metallica's One: tho if  I concentrate too hard on the lyrics it brings a tear to my eyes! 2/ Ramping it up a notch: Don't let me be misunderstood by Santa Esmerelda 3/ Off the richter frenzy F*&k! Anything Rammstein 4/ make love by: don't have a freekin clue cos my memory doesn't go back that far (lol)   Trish, as much as I loath to admit it, I don't 'do' sex when kids are around....just a quiet immitation when they are comatose..(kids that is..lol) Being a confirmed screamer and prolific 'talker' during the act I'm at my best when out in the bush where the only one's Im disturbing are the wildlife...PETA have me on their top 20 most wanted list..lol

Hey Nev, I cut my rocker eye teeth on AC/DC, got to know the guys really well too! Amazing time of my life..and all when I was but a teeny weeny. My parents didnt know what I was up to until they saw the news of me and two mates goin off next to the guys while they were playing atop Vic Park pool) I was in so much trouble...worth it tho...lol Moved on from accadacca now but surrounded by music with my son-in-law a drummer& cousins in bands. Nothing I enjoy more than going to see them play and just letting the music work its magic! Its my passion pit.... (and my neighbours nightmare)..lol

Last time I had contact with the young brothers was during their last tour. They kindly supplied me with memorabilia to give to the kids I was working with at the time. No ordinary kids either, they were the ones we read about and hope never to run into in a dark alley somewhere. But, still kids!! The look on their faces still gives me a kick! Ahhh, memories.....

That is so cool..... i reckon if i had my time over and new what i knew today i would love to be doing that type of work. The Rewards would be so great when you have a win, but i guess on the other side of the coin terribly heartbreaking at times! I remember watching a doco a few years ago (no idea what it was called now) about severely disadvantaged and nearly homeless kids in Sydney's inner west ( i think ) and how the social workers were trying to engage these kids and get them back on the straight and narrow....inspiring stuff. I really remember it because this one kid who had drug afflicted parents, never any food in the house, etc etc, yet this boy still got himself to school pretty much every day, stuck at his homework, and made good despite all the obstacles placed in his way by his parents, peers, and society. I wonder what became of him.I guess its something most of us never think about to often....mores the pity.No child should have to endure such hardship....Cheers Nev...............feeling a little sad now!......sorry about being wayyy off Topic.

My kit is all packed up, havn't played it in probably 15 yrs, the boys set it up occassionally and have a bash. Youngest boy wants to start learning Drums this year..The eldest is already learning Rock Guitar 3rd yr $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ groan.and actually the Con in Goulburn is pretty good you can learn Rock guitar, or Rock drums, with out having to do the classical stuff. So they actually learn rock/metal/industrial  from the outset and i think it is long overdue, bout time rock/metal/industrial existed in its own right as far as musicianship is concerned.Cheers Nev

Hey Nev, I count my blessings to have met and been in a position to assist, many young people during my own youth (as a student) and later as an educated adult. These young people put everything into persepective and I mean everything! When they honour you with telliing their stories which, when I recounted many years later to a colleague of mine, made her physically ill, you cannot help but be humbled and in awe of the survival skills they possess. Of the 20 or so YP I met aged 17 and over the next 7 years, only two survived. I will not go into detail as to the fate of my other 'friends' as this is neither the place nor the time to recount such tragedy. The moral of the story Nev, get your drums outta storage & bang away to your hearts content!! Love J xx

But can't make love to it...get way too distracted....   Music that puts me in the mood is varied, can be anything from Led Zeppelin to Ella Fitzgerald..   Am impressed with the taste of fellow RHPers....love that others like SRV & Rammstein!!   As much as I love the Whit's their music makes me feel melancholy and sad...one of their orig band members was a friend...   As for Robbie Williams....great voice...shame he is such a twat!!

Making Love?.....   Outshined - Soundgarden (Badmotorfinger)     Fucking?....   Could be anything... I am favourable to metal and rock, but I've had fun with All types of music playing... The ABBA sex bout I had though in Melbourne was pretty lame tho.

I was a fulltime Roadie during the 90's and still get called in from time to time... Have set the lads up twice now. The best guys to work for were Mr Bungle... Small intimate gigs, A few cans and gels for lighting, small mixing desks (primus are wankers they use a 52 channel mixing desk for 3 blokes... talented retards!) they let thier music speak for itself... and they help you set up, pack up and organise groupies for the lads over beer at the end. To complete the picture thier whole setup fit in a 3 tonne truck! Organised Real Humans No pratty behaviour...   Ah, memories...

Despite how the name looks they are a popular rock band with quite a large following, particularly in Europe.RockerCouple, I can't beleive you quoted Steel Panther!  lol.  Some of their stuff so off the wall.  Classic tongue in cheek (and other places)  rock.Have fun.Mr. FF.
