Saints and Sinners

October 09 2023

Hi All. Wife and I ventured to our first S&S ball on the weekend. First up - loved it, had a ball, but nervous, will do better next time! However, wondering how the play room downstairs works. Paid money to get in (no drinks or anything) presumably to access some sexy play but each time we tried to venture downstairs the gate was closed and old mate denied us entry. Never saw it open. So we basically paid 80$ each for cover charge where most nightclubs (music and dance is all we got for 80 each) charge $20? How does one access the full range of offerings they used to justify the entry fee? Were we not hot enough? Not young enough? Didn’t have the secret handshake? Any help for NYE would be great (yep we’re going back). Thanks.

We went twice, to Saints n Sinners (held at Inflation in King Street Melbourne) On both occasions we ventured into the basement play area. No one stopped us nor were there any checks etc. Have things changed ?

Hi OP. Glad to hear that you both had an awesome time at the S&S. I have been there few times but "to be denied entry to the basement" was unheard of. Are you sure that did happen on that night? Artsy :)

Never had this happen at SnS. Why didn't you ask them why you were denied entry? Sounds a bit strange.

Didn't go, but I heard there were stair closure issues due to a venue problem, and access to downstairs was across the dancefloor area via alternate means, which caused a bit of inconvenience. Old mate could have been more helpful though, that's for sure
