Could be a rather good idea to change condoms in case one girl has something, even thrush, we dont want to spread it around do we??

Yes, different condoms and dental dams for each girl. And lots of lube - spot some lube on a dental dam before you use it on a girl, it feels a lot better.

Us guys can be relatively safe Wearing condoms but frankly I've never used a dental dam ... I'd rather lick my elbow or something. But girl on girl... that's more difficult. Slap a condom on any dildo you might think about sharing. Couples that do fmf are high risk partners cause seems to me you ladies never play safe when you play girl on girl. Hugs gazza

They aren't that hard to use. Works pretty much like a cling-film wrap over a pussy. It's somewhat un-sexy, but we'll take un-sexy any day over catching something.

Most bisexual people by nature of more liberated and adventurous. As such the risks of cross contamination is high.Dental dams and similar also make the participation feel artificial, staged and less intimate. It's one of those experiences that you are damned if you do and damned if you don't.I suggest looking closer at home rather than on RHP and finding someone either of you already know by history and exploring the experimental possibility there. The fact that your partner is willing to try is already makes you a lucky soul.Try to appreciate and expand on that.Communicate well and let the lady lead.Such relationship is precious and it's never worth risking any emotional side effects.

OK.... safe sex. For penetrative intercourse using a condom protects you against the big ones. He should use a different condom on each person.. and a fresh condom each time he withdraws. For oral sex, put a condom on a penis and a dental dam over a vagina. Now... what do most people do? Most people use a condom for penetrative intercourse.. and no protection for oral. Most STD's are capable of being cured. The one we fear most is HIV and that cannot be cured. HIV is quite difficult to contract from oral sex but not impossible. Condoms are a good measure to take in preventing the spread of HIV because the virus can be present in seminal fluid... but that seminal fluid needs to make it into your blood stream for you to get infected... which it cannot do by swallowing it. Clearly, players should get tested regularly. This helps prevent the spread of STD's through oral sex. You can contract syphalis by oral sex.. and this weakens your immunity and the sores increase your risk of contracting HIV... so regular testing is the go if you do not use a dental dam. Hugs Gaz

Just in case you people are curious, you can make a dental dam ( for vagina licking ) out of a condom.Un wrap the condom, and hold it in your fingers. Cut the condom with a sharp pair of sizzors before you unroll it, half the diameter , from the outer ridge to the center of the condom. When you unroll it, it is in a square and can be used as a dam for cunnilingus.hehe , just a useless piece of info that saves a lot of money, as dams are very dear and you can use alternative measures if keen.Remember, herpes can be caught from licking and infected pussy.....or you can get herpes if you are licked from someone with a cold sore....always check your play partners if you want to practice unsafe....sex in any way you can and in good light..lol

If you follow couplesint's suggestion on making a home-made dental dam, one can increase its effectiveness at preventing HIV transmission by furthering wrapping the condom square in Saran wrap. It's been clinically proven - and is the only cling film brand - that actually hinders HIV transmission.

This is why we insist on the STD tests 1st..no condoms and be damned if we would use a femaile version. Yes I know its not 100% safe but at least we know that so far they [and us] are clean and the odds are in our favour. As far as girls being clean or not I would say they are safer than guys. Many guys would root a dog on a chain. Stick it in any old hole. The messages we get ffs from guys. Females are generally more paticular. Our goal is to be in a group of all tested and no one fucks around without asking for the test. I have never used a Dam and I wouldnt bother either. Like licking a lolly thru the wrapper and knowing one cant eat it. Same as condoms. I would rather just crank myself off. Mars

Yeah, sure .. use a dental dam... I put a pair of rubber gloves on recdently and fingered a gal... because she loved the feel of rubber... hehe.... demanded that I put the gloves on jsut so we could play doctors and patients... there are horses for courses.... hehe. But just to weld home the point... HIV through oral intercourse is really quite rare. Say your partner has HIV + and doesn't know... well, she/he has to have an open wound, blood or seminal fluid (esentially infected blood cells) which have to make its way into your blood stream... i.e... through a cut on your tongue... or bleeding gums in your mouth. Saliva kills HIV virus cells... so it has to be quick.

The only way you can be sure that someone is safe is if all are tested and then no one has unprotected sex with anyone until you all meet up and i am sure that doesn't happen too often. Oral sex does carry a risk if you have abrasions in your mouth.

Thank you for putting up this post, we are also new at this and the information that has been posted is great. We are both worried about the safety side of things, not just for our own health but for others as well.

Good to see people thinking about these things, but Gaz you missed a few. HIV is relatively rare in Australia and is a weak virus, not surviving long outside the body. It IS possible to transmit through oral sex (though very unlikely) or through women sharing dildos which haven't been protected or cleaned between use. And of course though penetrative sex, anal more likely than vaginal. Now for the much more likely diseases which CAN'T be cured, Herpes and Warts. Both of these are viral and once you've got them, that's it. They're with you forever! (what's the difference between love and herpes? Herpes is forever...) Generally speaking Herpes simplex Virus (HSV) type 1 causes cold sores and type 2 genital herpes. It is possible to get HSV2 around your mouth from giving oral sex to someone with herpes and possible to get HSV1 on your genitals from someone with a cold sore, giving you the same symptoms as type 2 genital herpes. Did you know you're infectious for the 2 weeks or so BEFORE the lesions appear? And remain so until the lesions have crusted over? So you can't tell by looking. Similar story with warts. Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) causes them, many different strains and we can treat the warts when they come (by burning them off) but we can't make the virus go away. It's with you forever... And causes cervical cancer, girls. The much more common diseases, chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis are all bacterial and can be treated with a simple course of antibiotics. If you know you have them. Abstinence is the only way to be 100% sure you catch nothing, but that's not why we signed up to RHP!! All the tips so far, using condoms (even on dildos) and changing between partners, dental dams, one hand for each girl's pussy are valuable. Playing with multiple different partners (which IS why we signed up with RHP!!) increases our chances of meeting carriers of disease but doesn't mean we have to catch anything, if we're sensible. One random fuck is not worth a lifetime of herpes!! Remember girls, the receptive partner (someone having something stuck IN them, YOU) is MUCH more likely to catch something. Unfair I know, but look after yourselves. And get tested regularly, some of these things can make you infertile. Lots of people come in for STD checks every day, it's nothing to be embarrassed about and most things can be treated. And yes, I am a doctor...

Miss the KissThere's a new health warning: kissing is a major transmitter of strains of the herpes virus, says the Australian Herpes Management Forum. While kissing "demonstrates affection" a spokesman admits, it poses risks to both adults and children.
