Religion and Sex

I met a lady the other day and we got it on, had a great time and then she told me she was a practising Catholic. For this lady her Catholic experience seemed to push her into some kinky directions which was very cool for me. Now, I am not a churchgoer but it got me wondering if religion plays a part in anybody's sex life. I'm also wondering if there are other ways religion and sex go together, like whether there are dos and donts that people obseve or a bit of tantric or other stuff altogether.
