Not allowed to post links as references?

Hey everyone: I've responded to a few posts, and tried posting new posts with links to articles and such either backing up my point, using it as a humorous reference, or as a reference toa conversation I'm wanting to start (eg, I read this the other day and was wondering what people's thoughts were...) HOw come those posts always get deleted or never posted to being with? Does RHP not allow links even if they're legitimate?

Just add key words, or an article title, so people can google it.

RHP can't take responsibility for any links of other sites, so as a blanket rule they've banned the lot.

I usually include a simple term to use in Google that will bring the right URL to the top of the search page. eg. Google "lmgtfy" for a handy way to assist your lazy friends.
