  Ok , so you are hoping to meet "likeminded people" (swingers??) at a normal place / venue as you will have straight (vanilla??) friends with ? How will you hope to be able to identify that they are swingers ? How will they know you are swingers ? And if you do bump into some swingers, what's stopping them letting your vanilla friends know they are swingers ? - Posted from rhpmobile

  Hellfire resurrection or one of the other BDSM club events. They are not vanilla, but there's no sex at the events, despite the nakedness and games. You may get away with taking friends there, and you may get lucky.

  Why don't you go out with your straight friends, then go out to a swingers event? You can catch up with your 'vanilla' friends and have a great meal and a chat or something, then get a 'bit tired', and end your night by checking out the scene in Melbourne. You two are a beautiful couple and will attract a lot of attention. Why not cut loose, feel free and have a memorable time? If your non-swinging friends are hanging around when you want to entertain the possibility of swinging, you may feel inhibited or guarded. Perhaps the real reason is that you want to gently test the waters with one of your friends. That would be interesting but it would be a shame if this spoiled the friendship. Hope you have a great time down in Melbourne.

I already tried to get him there but he doesn't want to do dress up in costume lolwe often come to Melbourne and the only place we go to thinking that we might be able to find some fun is at a strip clubs. so just looking for a normal club or bar where people hang out where something could happen. thanks everyone for your help

  Everyone has their limits and reasons for doing / not doing something. If it helps, try looking at Attunga if you are in town on a weekend where it is he last Saturday of the month, smaller place with a relaxed bar and plenty of places to go and have some fun, either with each other or with others. And Saints and sinners - we have only been once and I was very shy, turned out to be a great night as there was so many people and so many places to go that you could easily choose what you did or didn't see, lots of sex down stairs, dancing on the middle floor and chilling out for a chat on the top floor. At least that's how we seen it......

  Hi there. As a reasonably normal male I know how he feels so not silly at all. We have visited a great night at a pub called the Greyhound in St Kilda. They have a good meal then a drag show which turns into a nightclub. Not a swingers venue but a great laugh and full of open minded people.
