  No it's not you mate. Different people have different needs... some of them are very selfish needs. The occasional chap has been accused of trading in his wife for a younger model... most often the chaps more lubricated with funds, who by being so, becomes more attractive because he can provide the luxuries a trophy wife expects. The other flip of the coin is the mature woman who seeks younger male flesh for carnal pleasures before her attractiveness diminishes resulting from age. So many different permutations, so many different reasons, so many different outcomes. The equalizer is having loved ones who care for you once you're aged and decrepit. A person who only cares for themselves throughout life, may be left very lonely when that life is about to expire.
