How would you describe an orgasm?

If you met someone who for whatever reason was unable to experience an orgasm, how would you describe it? I assume its similar but different for everyone, but is it or is it much the same for each gender? So, apart from the basic 'oh its earth shattering' comment, how would you explain your orgasm? For me, its like a slow build up of muscles tensing, heart beating faster nearing the orgasm. Depending on what is causing the orgasm, toys, manual stimulation, oral etc sometimes hips are lifted and buttock muscles tensed firmly, on occassion toes curled in tightly nearing the edge. Just before the orgasm and the intense muscle tension of the body, there is an odd burning (cant think how else to explain it) sensation, one of those yes/no type of things, not exactly a great feeling but dont want it to stop knowing whats about to happen, sometimes even moving slightly from the stimulation so that burning sensation lingers longer building the desire even more, and then for what is probably only a split second, yet feels like several minutes sometimes, is a very calm almost floating numb feeling that washes over my entire body, and once that serentiy hits, the orgasm overcomes the body and the pleasure begins. Can be anything from wild thrashing, to sometimes clenched thighs and a deep throbbing, sometimes quiet and sometimes I need to just scream the roof down. What doesnt seem to vary is the lead up to the orgasm, but the orgasm itself will always vary in intensity and physical movement. Interested to hear from both men and women to see how we all experience orgasms. I have only gone on clitoral and nothing more, will add squirting, ejeculation and the deep throbbing types later ;) ;) maybe! lol

Lol, sounds good to me hun. I am just grateful to have your common garden variety type one....any pleasure, is good pleasure. To describe it.. yeah.... describe a colour to a blind man.. it's actually pretty damn hard .. .. I can really only say.. OMG.. lol.

...Arnold described the "pump" (the feeling of the muscle being engorged with blood due to exhertion) as being as satisfying as cumming. So I guess, you could say that cumming is like a muscle pump (I wouldn't but you could if you like). Personally, I have never described an orgasm. At the time, I emit no intelligible sound, just grunts. Maybe a yippee afterwards.
