Yes Someone has.....a positive name change would be good.....whom ever has the job of labeling/naming things has really F@#$ED shit up!I have some questions for them whom ever they are that they could perhaps clarify for me such as....Why do overlook and oversee mean opposite things?Why are a wise man and wise guy opposites?If lawyers are disbarred and clergymen defrocked, doesn't it follow that electricians can be delighted, musicians denoted, cowboys deranged, models deposed, tree surgeons debarked, and dry cleaners depressed?and lastly just in case they know the answer to this one...If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?

PMSL deranged Back on topicSF, for me anyway its not the word its the meaning and intention behind it that counts. If people on-mass started using the word heros instead of sluts for the same derogatory meaning then nothing has changed. What needs to change is people attitudes in the first place that women shouldn't be judged for enjoying sex with as many or few partners as they choose.Cheers, W

Why do we see slut as a bad word?? My view is the context and tone in which it has been thrown around like some frisbee. Some might say "a slut, is a woman with morals of a man!" Are they wrong?? I don't think so. Lets not forget though, in the throws of passion, there has been a woman that has indeed called herself that as a form of dirty talk, so, I think it's essentially overused, and misunderstood. But....I could be wrong......

I was waiting for someone to say "sluts ARE my heroes" and sure enough... :)But I do admire people who don't shy away from going after what they want, irrelevant of what other's think.Especially when it's one of the most exciting parts of life. ;)(Also I like that word when it's used for fun and not for hurt)

You are who you are and if you go around being offended by name calling then there is some underlying reason in you that makes it so. (interesting OP that you said "sex too much" ????) The label is a label no matter the word. Change it to hero but the meaning remains the same. People that must use it in a derogatory way have their own problems. We left the childish school yard years ago.The opposite word would be prude which to some is just as offensive. Water of a ducks back and embrace you self.
