Genuine Research Request

Hi everyone, I am currently doing some post graduate research and I need to present a seminar on modern relationships and marriage. While there is a lot of social and demographic material available I'm more interested in what real people are thinking about their relationships, sex, being single, swininging, monogomy etc. Is there anyone who would be willing to chat with me either via msn or over a coffee or 2 (my shout) ? Any conversation we have is goverened by strict rules of confidentiality and any notes etc that I take will not contain any personally identifiable material. In fact I don't even have to know your real name. Your actual age, gender and marital status is important though so that I can compare your responses with others to look for trends, patterns etc. Please send a message or email if you would be interested in participating. For those of you who don't know me, I am actually an rhp participant myself and have been on the site for some time...the profile wasn't put up just for the purposes of reseach. Thanks, poss

That sounds like fun Possum. I paid for a membership yesterday so I look forward to chatting with you about your study when it kicks in. (I'm in Perth for a week so maybe we can arrange to meet for that coffee).

Hey Poss... Why dont you have a small get together and interview everyone in one hit... and then watch how they interact with each other.... I'd be up for that... And there is no hidden agenda... Just thought all these people interested.. Instead of paying for coffee kill a few birds with one stone and have a small get together over a bbq or a night of pool etc....?? *shrugs* Count us in... bundy

Hi Bundy, that actually sounds like a great idea! Let me get a venue and a date together in the next couple of weeks and I will post the info on the forum. It would actually make a lot of sense for a group chat as it allows people to bounce ideas off each other...rich information indeed! Hi possum Not sure where you were thinking of a venue if you want a public place or somewhere more private but upstairs at The Leederville there's a couple of private functions room and its free...people just pay for your own drinks and you can BYO nibblies or food if you so desire. Just a suggestion :-)

Just a quick note to thank those who have offered to have a chat. I've managed to talk to a few of you but life has been very hectic....frail elderly parents, children with colds, new job etc. I was hoping to organise a get together but it seems that's not going to happen...running out of time. I apologise to anyone who put their hand up that I haven't had a chance to talk to yet. I'm hoping to contact a few more in the next couple of weeks...
