First date preferences

There’s a beautiful ideology of entertaining a person at a speakeasy type location. Adds an air of “before internet” dating and a semblance of more traditional flirting and getting to know one another. Would this be more appealing that a pint at the local Irish? Where’s you’re ideal first date to wine and dine (or be wined and dined)?

I don't want to dine in case I don't like them. A drink makes it an easy escape if necessary.

Personal, I can't stand first meets that are social.... drinks, wine and dine or an activity etc. Maybe of I was single but I just find them a waste of my time when I'm (hubby too) are literally only here for sex. Now that I dont do 1on1s (only group play) I just meet to play, at my house or apartment (or friend's if they're hosting) might have a wine or two as we suss everyone out and get the juices flowing but that's about it.

Social meets first, thats how I work. Like Rachy, I had a guy pick me up and take me to the riverside where he had organised food and wine. I cant have sex with someone Ive only known for half an hour. So a coffee, dinner or drinks is good with me. At the end of the date, you either think "Well, this was ok,.." or, " Im going to meet him again and fuck him". It works for me.
