This has been my/our experience. If we are meeting a couple it has always been drinks at a pub/clubWhen I have met women on my own it has always been cofee at their place.When we have had guys over it is just sex, and sometimes dinner at our place as well.If I am meeting a guy on my own it has always been straight up sex at their place.Cheers Nev

I would never have a 'go out to dinner' date/meet for the first time, just semms wrong to me, two people who barely now each other, see each other properly for the first time, just to many things that could go bad.Coffee- i don't drink coffee, but will have hot choc if it's cold out :)Drinks- much better, have a couple, then either a 'nice to meet you' or a 'wanna get out of her :)'I like movies myself, but that's really only proper dates not sex meets thou, could still work.But the rocking up to a Randoms place for some good hours of sex works well too, does need a fair bit of txt \msging before hand thou

I usually invite people to meet at my place for coffee unless i have some reservations about them and then i usually meet them out somewhere. I rarely plan dinner or lunch dates unless i already feel a close friendship or bond with the person online. Altho in saying that i did agree to a lunch date last weekend, yet we only made it as far as a motel on the way. So in theory i still havent had a lunch or dinner date lol

We have tried the dinner one, and like others felt pressured to stay in a situation where having teeth pulled by a dentist would have been more fun.Now we actually like to meet socially, in the open air at a park or somewhere similar as it allows us to talk frankly about our likes, dislikes, experiences and what we want with no ears that may over hear and embarrass the other party (we have no shame).We have never met anyone (for the first time) on the understanding that we would be farking within a few minutes, it just isn't for us (but that is no judgement on those that can an do take this approach). However, we have met people for a social meet and there has been a large spark which has led to play straight away, so we do not rule it out but do not plan it.Shell and Gaz

Different horses for different courses. I guess it depends on the intencity and flow of the communication before the meet. If there is email chat, phone talk build up......as long as there is honesty, there is nothing that can disappoint!

i too find that having sex sooner rather than later really eases the tension, then i can relax and chat away. if i wasnt impressed though, i tend not to have too much to say at all afterwards. too busy thinking about how im gonna make a smooth exit. either way, we've had a shag, which is better than a kick up the bum, so no harm no foul.

Personally...I will generally just book a nice room in the city with and escape clause if I am very comfortable with the person I am meeting, which most of the time I am and can only think of one time where one or both decided it wasn't happening so...I still had a nice night out on the town anyway. | Drinks a few times...but I am not one to just sit and drink myself half blind and call it a good time. Would rather share a few drinks somewhere more intimate and of a better vintage. | Coffee only a few times...and once, cross my heart, I asked for mine in a take away cup. | Nothing really planned in advance...like spontenaity, privacy and let nature take it's course. And we can always call room service... | ...and have breakfast in bed in the morning.

I always give the lady a choice as to coffee/lunch/dinner as I believe it is important to not give her the impression you will just about cum in your pants when you meet, so be cool, laid back and casually accept whichever mode of meeting to which she is agreeable. I have also never net a woman who has gone straight for the sex but there are many where that has ended. I would never suggest the sex part first and i believe it would be putting too much pressure on them to suggest meeting at her home.

When meeting couples we have a strict regimen as previously discussed on another thread. We have met too many couples who just don't match their profile to ever not be too careful. Must see pics, must chat on the phone beforehand and never, never, never meet at their home. We always meet at a neutral venue and always with the understanding that play does not necessarily follow. Sometimes it may. If possible we arrange to meet at a party or at a Club (now there are none on the Gold Coast so that's a bit of a worry) and if all goes well we play - but always a neutral venue. Also if they are nudists as well we can meet at the beach.

If they are the ones that are vaguely irritating in chat/text/email then I have the coffee elsewhere - just to confirm that I was right and they are annoying. Dinner is usually awkward. I tend to over think things - what if he is allergic to what I like? What if he doesn't tell me that spicy food makes him break out in hives? Imagine the state his pecker will be in if I go down on him! etc et al. Then there are the good ones where everything just works and you fuck like rabbits before you even say 'hi, how are' :)

Haha Easy ! lets face it you have one thing on your mind.. yeah sure they could tick all the right boxes but having them in your home that could be a hard one to get out of if the attraction is not happening.
