Exploring the fine line

August 14 2007

sex

Hello all, I am going to admit, quite shamelessly, that I am doing research. No, not for an academic paper, (though I wouldn't rule out doing one if I could get a scholarship) for a book of erotic stories. While I have explored the fine line, I wouldn't say I've strayed too far from the edge. I am curious as to what people enjoy about pain. What signifies that it has become unbearable if you have been bearing it right up until that moment? What happens, and do you think it happens in the mind or in the body, when pain turns to pleasure? And do people buy books of erotic stories? Do all erotic stories have to have copious amounts of sex? or can they have no sex at all? Are people interested in essays. I have started a photo essay of sensuality and nature. Sometimes when I go walking along the headland here, I walk home in a total state of arousal. I download the photos I have taken as I stand again in the places that felt inviting to me. Mmmmmmmakes my body want to dance and play and have scintillating sex. Hope to hear from you. Cheers Wild Nature

Hi There WildNature1 and others! Have just been going through some of these posts having been a new member to see what its all about and noticed you have put a few replies to others posts. But when you've posted this no one replied! So I thought what the hell lets put my thoughts here. lol Looks like its been a while since you've posted this and who knows what youve done since then but just to stir the pot.... You say you've explored the fine line. Is that in regard to the content of the stories? Was that your viewpoint or a viewpoint that you think the general population would on most occasions go for? I believe that everyone has their own fine line.... Regarding pain you could probably go into a whole medical thingy here but I reckon its all about the mind and the way we react to nerve endings etc the way we have been 'programmed' to react. Maybe I'm naive and havn't experienced that side of things. However you can draw an analogy to the emotional aspects of life I think as well. I reckon until you have experienced pain / loss emotionally you can not truly experience pleasure / love and the appreciation of life in general. So maybe the same can be applied to pain and pleasure form a sexual point of view?.... As for your question on if people buy books of erotic stories. I think the answer is obvioulsy yes as there are plenty of businesses out there doing it although the online availavbility of sex stories for free is quite high as well. You can even get podcasts of them! Hmm interesting to see that the naturual world turns you on!. Cheers Tono

Tono, I am so glad you took the time to respond to this post. I never imagined coming back months later and finding a response. Yes, the natural world does excite and delight me, it is rich in senusality and sexuality and to me being in forest is akin to some people's being in church. I hope you re finding what you seek here, cheers Wild

Hi Wildnature1, I was reading your post today and it made me wonder if perhaps your honesty in admitting to doing "Research" may have been the subconscious reason for members not replying to your post. They perhaps may thinking along the following lines...Research argh that means too many questions when do i see tits, Essay arghhh dont look at me i finished school years ago.... I am not saying this is correct but perhaps your wording may be better. I can imagine a better response to a question that asks, "Do YOU ever dream of being taken to the edge of pain by my studded paddle" As for the pleasure and pain I have found personally that the point of too much pain happens when adrenaline wears off. This is approx 2 hours into a sex session. When it comes to photography for me personally it is not what i can see but what the picture prompts my imagination to come up with, same applies to erotic stories. Hope my response gives you something to think about. Velvet

I appreciate the feedback and also yr straight answer about when the pain kicks in. I especially loved your question about being taken to the edge with a studded paddle. Thanks again Wilds
