Those who have watched Dr-90210 (a cosmetic surgery reality TV program) will be aware of the movement in the direction of cosmetic surgery on the genitalia. To what degree its happening here I have no idea, but Los Angeles always seems to be a trend setter, and soon after it starts appearing locally. Its undeniable that these things are going on, and some reconstructive surgery is often required, such as when there is a weakened pelvic floor from multiple pregnancies and deliveries, following hysterectomy and also from long standing chronic straining. One scenario is that of a hernia forming at the site next to the uterus or where the uterus was removed and pushed down by the bowel above, causing it to protrude through the vagina. You seem to be blaming the messenger for conveying uncomfortable news. Whilst I'm simply trying to be impartial and report what's going on in the world. I replied to this last night, but I got booted before it finished posting...
