Changing Lifestyles

Hi everyone, just registered myself recently and have been verified, although i do not yet have any photos posted, nor a profile photo, but i will be posting one up as soon as i get some personal stuff sorted out first. Ok, as i have gotten older, i have been thinking more and more about things such as swinging, bdsm, and a lot of other alternative lifestyle topics that we see here in this forum, and i have been curious about why so many people, especially couples, seem to turn to these alternative lifestyles, and i notice that in this forum there seems to be a lot of couples participating who are well over 40 years old. Would i be right in thinking that many people become bored with their normal lifestyle and turn to alternative lifestyles just to spice things up, or is it something else ? I have so many things that i now want to try, stuff that my previous partner would never agree to participate in, but still not sure how to go about it, but i do know that i would love to meet a few women in here just for casual conversations so i can move on, and to start a new life doing things that i have never done before.

Quoting 'Gr8distraction' To the Zoo Thanks, i have followed this forum (and others similar) for quite some time now, and most of them are typically similar in that there are many regular contributors who seem to be legit, and lots of other members who seem to be not exactly what they are pretending to be, which is unfortunate in a way, however i think i know the pitfalls and hope i can enjoy my time here, and possibly find things that take my interest, and hopefully meet some new friends.

Unfortunately our age restricts us getting too deep in the lifestyles here. Why would women go for the 50's guys when they have so many 30s and 40s yo choose from. Just makes it harder for us but seize the opportunities if they arise. But they do come. I've been lucky to tick so many boxes of my list whilst in here. Good starting point is developing a network of friends. Meet and greets are good. Good luck and welcome to the sandpit

Is that as a lot of couples reach that age, the kids are either grown up or grown up enough to be independent, giving Mum and Dad the breathing space to do stuff that they couldn't do when they had to be responsible parents? And that new-found freedom creates a desire to try all sorts of new activities and indulgences. - Posted from rhpmobile
