I decided to open my criteria up to include couples....lol fucked if I know why.... But it seems as though RHP matches are stupid..... They list anything and everything as a match without considering the reverse..... Any wonder couples get pissed off with people outside their criteria checking them out....it's a one way match....wtf RHP??? - Posted from rhpmobile

Gripe of the day: Yo RHP! Whenever I clicked on someone's post that appeared on my feed because I was following that poster or forum it only took me to the first page of the thread. Very annoying. Then the "Like" function appeared. Now when I click on for example ""Meeka100 has liked this forum post "M.." on my feed, it takes me right to that post. So it's possible to go straight to a post without having to search for it! Please make this happen for everything that appears on our feeds, thanks.

Such a versatile man, from Toy to Patch Adams to Dead Poet Society........ Everyone in the entertainment industry is floored, nobody even realised he suffered depression........... He gave so much to not only the entertainment industry, however also to the many charity organisations he was part of and the promotion of womens empowerment....... He was a man who deserved to go peacefully at a nice old age....

I remember Robin clearly in Mork and Mindy, in which Pam Dauber was supposed to be the star. There were reports of arguments and fights over 'billing' and 'lines' etc, because Williams completely stole the show. (Dauber faded into obscurity, in comparison). I was in my twenty's and with young kids. We never missed an episode and I think, since, there has NEVER been a movie with Robin Williams in it that I haven't seen. He was a brilliant comedian, impeccable impressionist, and a wonderfully generous man in many ways. He went through acting school with Christopher Reeves and they were lifetime friends, When Reeves had the terrible horse riding accident that left him a quadriplegic, Williams paid for much of his hospital bills and care. The two also appeared in a comically ridiculous 'Music Video' for a friend who recorded a hit song called 'Don't Worry, Be Happy" in around '85 or so. A truly talented and wonderful man. We are the poorer for his not being with us.

An excerpt from President Barack Obama’s statement, sent from the White House: “Robin Williams was an airman, a doctor, a genie, a nanny, a president, a professor, a bangarang Peter Pan, and everything in between. But he was one of a kind. He arrived in our lives as an alien — but he ended up touching every element of the human spirit. He made us laugh. He made us cry. He gave his immeasurable talent freely and generously to those who needed it most–from our troops stationed abroad to the marginalized on our own streets.” Foxy

There is no denying the incredible talents of Robin Williams How blessed we are, that we have been to enjoy him for as long as we have. Robin Williams was a Genius in the rue meaning of the word. An incredible mind that worked at warp speed, an incredible depth of talent beyond comprehension of us meager mortals.Unfortunately what made Robin great also made him vulnerable and lonely and ultimately lead him to self destruct.I'm really sorry we let you down Robin I'm sorry we didn't help you feel the love and joy that you delivered so perfectly to us over and over again tirelessly. Mostly I hope you have found your peace R.I.P my Captain my Captain x

Quoting 'VelvetNoir' Robin Williams A friend wrote on Facebook: "So, here we go again. A famous movie star dies (out of his own free will) and everybody finds those great pathetic words to commemorate him. Pay those who die (i.e. are KILLED) in Gaza, Iraq, Nigeria, Syria etc., etc. everyday the same respect!" It got to me, so I responded by saying that depression, suicidality and the tragic act of taking one's life cannot be described as "Own free will" in my opinion and I find it offensive and hurtful to suggest otherwise. This morning this appeared on my FB feed: 15 Things you should not say to someone with depression (find it on Buzzfeed). The first line: "Depression is not a choice." Hear hear. I hope RHP won't mind me posting a link this one time, it lists 16 Australian helpline services for mental illness and emergencies. http://www.buzzfeed.com/jennaguillaume/ways-you-can-get-help-for-mental-illness-in-australia

I have been shocked to see some people's comments about the Robin Williams situation. I didn't realize how ignorant some people are when it comes to mental illness. Although I think there is more information available and more awareness in the last few years. It is awful and lots of people felt very saddened by it. He is a celebrity sure but we all grew up watching him and he touched a lot of people with his humour. Well he is not suffering any longer, but I really feel for his family & any other family who have had a family member commit suicidie. They must be absolutely devastated and in some ways so hurt by it too... Even though you know it was the depression that finally won. It's all just awful. :-(

Quoting 'Meeka100' It is awful and lots of people felt very saddened by it. He is a celebrity sure but we all grew up watching him and he touched a lot of people with his humour. I spoke with close to a hundred of my patients yesterday, and around a third of them mentioned his passing. As a lot of you know I work with people with addiction and mental health problems. I believe a lot of them saw Robin (with his openness about his various struggles with drugs, alcohol and depression over the years) as one of them. One of my patients died a very violent death on the weekend, and it struck my colleagues and I as very odd that only two of the others even mentioned this event (though pretty much everyone knew him and he was very likeable). It seems Robin Williams' death is having a much larger impact at the moment, as I think many of my patients recognised themselves in him.

There was also the Fox (Faux) News journalist who basically called him selfish for leaving his children. Comments like that make me so angry, and they highlight that although yes there has been some progress in understanding and reducing stigma around mental illness, there remains much ignorance among the general public about it. I read a good article in The Guardian which responded to this and the other uninformed comments that inevitably get thrown around when someone commits suicide ('they took the easy way out', 'how can someone with so much going for them want to end things like that', etc.). If anyone is interested in reading the full article google "Robin William's death a reminder". One thing the article points out which I very much agree with is that depression as an illness could really use another name. To most people being depressed means being in a bit of a funk for a few days so that's how they view it, but depression as a clinical condition is so much more complex and sinister than that. According to a statement released by his wife he had also recently been diagnosed with the early stages of Parkinson's Disease. Whether that contributed to his final decision we obviously don't know, but it was certainly another very heavy burden for someone already battling mental illness. Of all his roles I think it's one of his more serious ones, in Dead Poets' Society, that is my favourite.

What a huge loss we have suffered this week. Yes the incredible Mr Williams grabbed us Mork fro Ork and never let us go. He amazed us he made us laugh he made us cry he made us think. he made us question and he made us change.I how I wish you had random dialed me that morning. I would have listened, I would have told you everything was ok, that you were ok and loved and valuable. I would have done anything, listened to you cry cried with you. I am very grateful we had you with us for so long my friend that I never met. I only want humbly thank you and many years from now when we enjoy the legacy you have given us Captain My Captain people will share your story and minds will be changed and lives will be saved and yes Captain My Captain you will keep giving to the world that you have left behind x Lauren my beautiful Lauren I have been incredibly privileged to meet some amazing people in my life but only one true Hollywood StarMs Lauren Bacall. Always dressed and groomed to perfection very tall a little scary big voice. But once she realized you were friend not foe she showed the real Lauren. She was smart, sassy, sexy, classy, cheeky and more. I attended a private screening of a movie that had not been released and spent some time with her afterwards. I had like a million questions for her but she only wanted to know about me. I politely answered all he questions. Of course this was a great way for Lauren to keep me at arms length. A couple of weeks later again there was a private screening arranged for Lauren of an old Hollywood movie she had requested (and no it wasn't one of hers) This was in a private house, so the atmosphere was more relaxed , but it was the movie and memories that weaved their magic, she was so happy after the screening, she laughed and joked. She told wonderful stories about herself and Bogie without and sadness or sense of loss. She only used the first names of all the Hollywood stars she talked about. She was just talking about her work mates her friends. And now she is with her beloved Bogie.Maybe I'll see her again in heaven I hope so.RIP Lauren the beautiful xx
